Hello and welcome to my website! I’m an Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Relations at Tecnológico de Monterrey. I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from Texas A&M University.

I specialize in International Political Economy, with a focus on the international trade of cultural products and trade networks. My research centers on understanding the social impacts of international trade of cultural products, as well as countries' strategies in navigating these influences and strengthening trade networks. My dissertation explores the political causes and consequences of foreign movies in autocratic regimes.
